Global Director Category Management HR Services

Location: Basel, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Lead the global HR Services procurement category with accountability for approximately 200 MCHF in spend.
• Develop and execute category strategies using market insights, demand forecasting, and business priorities.
• Partner with HR leadership, digital, legal, and finance stakeholders to shape sourcing decisions.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, relationship management, and performance improvement.
• Direct international cross-functional projects focused on automation, standardization, digitalization, and change management.
• Establish KPI frameworks and dashboards to improve quality, service, and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in global category management within HR or professional services in complex international environments.
• Strong commercial expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders globally.
• Understanding of supply markets, cost drivers, and emerging technologies within HR services.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.

• Advanced procurement certifications, such as CIPS.
