Commercial Contract Manager - Critical Facilities

What you will do

• Lead contract administration and commercial management for a large-scale mission critical facility construction project.
• Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements.
• Develop change management processes and evaluate change orders and claims.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow to support commercial viability.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks while managing client, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports and lead contract close-out and final account negotiations.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of commercial management experience in a senior or leadership position on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, contract administration, standard construction contract forms, and contract risk mitigation.
• Experience in the Belgium construction market.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced negotiation, financial analysis, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certification such as MRICS, CCM, PMP, or equivalent.

• Experience with mission critical or pharmaceutical facility projects.
