Principal Enterprise Release Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite in Dallas, Texas, working from the designated office five days per week. No relocation is offered.

Salary: $116,700–$196,100 USD annually.

What you will do

• Define and scale the enterprise release-management strategy, operating model, roadmap, playbooks, readiness criteria, deployment guidance, and governance.
• Onboard strategic programs through discovery sessions, tabletop exercises, adoption planning, and governance mobilization.
• Build enterprise release scorecards, data models, source-system mappings, metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Improve visibility into release scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, change activity, readiness, and customer impact.
• Drive end-to-end traceability across business initiatives, source-code changes, pipelines, change records, deployments, and production outcomes.
• Lead change-risk, resiliency, infrastructure-patching, executive-governance, and AI-enabled release decision-support capabilities while mentoring release-management professionals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise release management, technology transformation, software engineering, DevOps, IT service management, delivery governance, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing or scaling enterprise operating models, governance frameworks, standardized playbooks, adoption models, and executive scorecards.
• Expertise in Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, hybrid delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, release readiness, dependency management, risk assessment, rollback planning, observability, and root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Align, Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, GitHub/GitHub Actions, ServiceNow, and related DevOps toolchains.
• Experience with Power BI, analytics, metric validation, executive dashboards, data-driven presentations, and cross-organizational transformation in a matrixed enterprise.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled analytics, generative AI, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and human-in-the-loop decision models, plus strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• ServiceNow, SAFe, Agile, DevOps, ITIL, product-management, or program-management certification.
• Experience with DORA-aligned measures, technology-risk reporting, policy-as-code, audit evidence, compliance attestations, or AI-assisted governance.
• Experience with enterprise-scale infrastructure or OS patching, application resiliency, regulated environments, and integrated DevOps and ITSM ecosystems.
• Strong full-stack software development experience, including architecture, front-end and back-end development, API integration, databases, and cloud-native solutions.
