Outpatient Physical Therapist (Neuro-Ortho)

Location: Tinley Park, Illinois, United States; onsite outpatient role

Salary: USD 40.79–55.07 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy for patients with a general neuro-orthopedic caseload.
• Manage patient care from initial evaluation through discharge, including treatment planning, re-evaluations, treatment modifications, and safety monitoring.
• Select appropriate evaluations, treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols based on patient needs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with PTAs, physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, education, mentoring, student clinical programs, and departmental projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to provide patient education, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and meet productivity standards.
• Ability to flex schedules or assignments to meet patient care and departmental needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
