Location: Columbus, Georgia, United States; onsite work at a health center and client worksites

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Assess patients and develop individualized, goal-directed physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, manual therapies, modalities, patient education, and in-home exercise guidance.
• Coordinate care with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, health coaches, medical assistants, and other professionals.
• Document patient services in the electronic medical record and arrange follow-up appointments, screenings, and tests.
• Provide worksite education on body mechanics, ergonomics, safety, wellness, and injury prevention.
• Support staff development through evidence-based resources and in-service training.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited university.
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Outpatient experience with adolescent and adult patients.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements and electronic medical record software in accordance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.

Nice to have

• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience.
• Strong presentation skills and experience delivering education to multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
