Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid working model with an office base in Barcelona

What you will do
- Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with approved roadmap items.
- Translate hospital, clinical research, user, and business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure backlog items meet the Definition of Ready and support effective sprint execution.
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA to clarify requirements and resolve functional or technical ambiguity.
- Represent clinical research and hospital workflows in product decisions and validate solutions from an end-user perspective.
- Support sprint reviews, delivery governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Technical background, such as a BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Previous experience in Product Management or Project Management.
- Experience in clinical research, trial management, hospital IT, or healthcare software.
- Ability to write clear and precise product requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Proficient English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with clinical trial management, biobanking, or research analytics platforms.
- Understanding of healthcare data models, interoperability, and data exchange standards including FHIR, HL7, and XML-based interfaces.
- Knowledge of clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, and CDISC.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-aware healthcare and medical software environments.
