Materials Operations Supervisor - MCO

Location: Orlando International Airport, United States; onsite warehouse and flight-line work in a 24/7 environment

hirify.global operates an airline and requires materials operations support for aircraft maintenance and flight-line activities.

What you will do

• Lead warehouse staff and oversee receiving, binning, issuing, shipping, inventory movements, and material security.
• Manage aircraft parts, tooling, equipment, shelf-life controls, quarantine, segregation, repairs, and scrap disposition.
• Coordinate parts and tooling support with Maintenance, Technical Buyers, Repair Coordinators, transportation providers, and AOG operations.
• Handle hazardous materials and domestic and international shipments.
• Develop procedures and audits covering safety, parts control, shelf life, electro-static discharge, tooling, and bin maintenance.
• Track labor, capacity, productivity, safety, quality, and performance metrics while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience requisitioning, receiving, storing, moving, issuing, and shipping aircraft materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Previous experience leading an airline warehouse operation and knowledge of inventory control and storekeeping practices.
• Forklift experience and strong computer skills, including Excel.
• General understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 121 operations.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Must pass a ten-year background check and obtain and maintain an airport security badge and SIDA badge in accordance with TSA requirements.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, acceptable driving record, valid passport, and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to work varied hours, operate in a 24/7 environment, lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, and work in warehouse conditions with temperature and noise variations.

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Purchasing and supply management certification.
• Trax experience.
• Supply chain experience in the aviation or airline sector.
• Knowledge of aviation maintenance and supply chain operations.
