Location: Columbus; onsite work in an open-air hangar

What you will do
- Review material requests and create stock transfers and purchase orders.
- Source, purchase, and expedite aircraft parts to ensure materials are available on-site when needed.
- Communicate with vendors, research material issues, and resolve discrepancies.
- Pull AIPC references for newly requested parts and analyze trends in parts requirements.
- Monitor removed-core shipments and heavy-check orders from initiation through final delivery.
- Report shipment, condition, and completeness issues to Materials for resolution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of related supply chain, purchasing, or materials experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, prepare correspondence, and communicate in one-on-one and small-group settings.
- Ability to work outdoors in hangar conditions occasionally and travel up to 10%, including overnight travel.
Nice to have
- Education in aviation or supply chain.
- Additional related experience.
