Inside Sales Representative (Electrical)

What you will do

• Communicate with customers and vendors, respond to inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate requests.
• Process orders and quotes in the business system and assist customers with vendor portals.
• Explain product features and applications, recommend product selections, and provide product submittal sheets for approval.
• Make outbound calls, follow up on quotes and leads, identify sales opportunities, and maintain customer records.
• Close sales, achieve sales targets, and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
• Participate in product and sales training and collaborate with colleagues across functions.

Requirements

• Two years of customer service, sales, or distribution experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or other computer systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment and work effectively cross-functionally.
• Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day; occasional travel to branches, training, or business-related seminars may be required.

Nice to have

• Two years of electrical sales and customer service experience.
• Eclipse ERP experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree.
