Inside Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

Location: On-site in Stratford, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Process telephone and email orders, quotes, pricing, delivery specifications, payment terms, and suitable product alternatives.
• Manage customer relationships, support outside sales personnel, and grow sales within an assigned customer base and territory.
• Use digital tools to promote products, answer technical questions, and support new and existing customers.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up through the purchasing cycle, close orders, and resolve customer issues using root-cause analysis.
• Research customer operations, product applications, competitors, pricing, and market trends, and report findings to management.
• Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training to maintain product and application knowledge.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer-focused communication, presentation, organization, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, handle basic to intermediate issues, and work overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and customer relationship management tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Stratford, Connecticut, United States.
