Sr. Consultant, Technology Architecture (Capital Markets): Leading architecture delivery for Capital Markets solutions, integrating trading platforms, risk management systems, market data feeds, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics with an accent on enterprise alignment and scalable solution design. Focus on building the long-term architecture roadmap, completing final project architecture, designing APIs and data pipelines, and addressing security, compliance, and integration risks.
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid work arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do
- Lead technology architecture initiatives across the Capital Markets portfolio and align solutions with enterprise strategies and architecture patterns.
- Develop target-state architecture and long-term architectural roadmaps for Capital Markets applications.
- Integrate trading platforms, risk management systems, market data feeds, enterprise services, and APIs.
- Deliver final architecture for projects, documenting solution designs, risks, and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop solutions supporting strategic objectives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect leading complex projects.
- Experience with systems integration, API design and implementation, financial products, trading platforms, risk management systems, and market data feeds.
- Programming and scripting proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with C++ or Java is also relevant.
- Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, data analytics, visualization, quantitative modeling, and risk calculations.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, trade surveillance, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
