Delivery Solutions Architect (Data & AI): Leading post-sale technical delivery and adoption of Databricks workloads for strategic customers with an accent on technical account strategy, production enablement, and executive stakeholder management. Focus on accelerating complex data and AI use cases into production, coordinating cross-functional teams, and optimizing platform adoption, cloud costs, and customer outcomes.
Location: Canada — Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; Toronto, ON; Ottawa, ON; or Montreal, QC

What you will do
- Lead post-sale technical account strategy and execution for strategic customer accounts and multiple Databricks use cases.
- Drive onboarding, enablement, production launches, healthy workload consumption, and product adoption.
- Act as the primary technical contact for production and go-live issues, coordinating internal specialists, support, education, and technical services.
- Create execution plans covering use-case delivery, user growth, Lakehouse adoption, cloud cost control, tuning, optimization, and governance.
- Coordinate with Professional Services, Product, Engineering, sales, and field engineering teams on proposals, innovations, private previews, and upgrades.
- Report customer health, usage, risks, investment status, and use-case progression to technical leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering technical projects or programs in Data and AI, with the ability to contribute to customer architecture and design discussions.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of distributed data systems, solution architecture, business value attribution, and technical program or project management.
- Experience managing senior executive escalations, discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and complex delivery programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience; ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
