Project Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Define manufacturing methods and follow SOPs, work instructions, and process requirements to achieve quality standards.
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams on new product development and manufacturing processes.
• Provide engineering support for New Product Introduction projects, including cross-functional sessions and APQP activities.
• Develop risk assessments, FMEA documentation, control plans, quality plans, part structures, and technical manufacturing instructions.
• Lead root cause investigations, resolve manufacturing issues, document lessons learned, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical ownership of development, pre-serial, and serial production products, including product deviations and yield requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with New Product Introduction methodologies and delivering validation packages to external customers.
• Experience in high-volume production manufacturing and development programmes.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and drawings and communicate requirements to manufacturing teams.
• Experience with problem-solving tools such as 3C and 8D.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
• Fluent English is required, along with strong communication, teamwork, independence, and continuous improvement skills.
