Process Quality Engineer (Six Sigma)

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year, subject to skills and experience

What you will do

• Own process quality activities for key production lines across both manufacturing buildings.
• Work hands-on on the factory floor with operations teams and process owners to deliver continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor production processes, investigate deviations, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Use Infinity, Smart Factory, Ignition, and OEE data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain PFMEAs, control plans, PPTRs, and related process documentation while supporting new equipment handover from NPI.
• Lead capability studies, measurement system analysis, Poka-Yoke initiatives, and Six Sigma DMAIC improvements.

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical or electro-mechanical HNC or higher qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally including a four-year engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience communicating clearly and accurately with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
• Project management experience, including leadership of Six Sigma Green Belt projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training in MS Project.
• Ability to work independently, stay organised, and operate without technical supervision.
