Maintenance Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; onsite role at the manufacturing site.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Lead maintenance planning and review meetings and communicate progress or changes to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Stores to ensure spare parts and materials are available for planned work.
• Review maintenance performance, work packages, and deviations with Engineering, Planning, Production, and Senior Engineers.
• Ensure risk assessments, permits, safety requirements, and contractor compliance are in place before work begins.
• Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records in the CMMS and support continuous improvement and Zero Harm objectives.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar role within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities and asset records.
• Experience working in a maintenance department within a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience participating in Root Cause Analysis investigations and problem-solving activities.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
