Manufacturing Engineer (Electromechanical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Improve manufacturing and production efficiency in collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.
• Support new product introduction and embed Design for Manufacture principles into production.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, flow optimization, 3S/5S, TWI, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop production layouts, jigs, fixtures, tooling, and assembly aids.
• Investigate manufacturing issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation, tooling, equipment, and calibration systems while supporting waste and inventory reduction.

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a technical manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
• Experience supporting electromechanical assembly and test processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, including experience with NPI activities.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective action, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Health & Safety requirements in manufacturing and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, electrical, industrial technology, or electromechanical manufacturing.
• Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or process improvement projects.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacture, NCR, CAPA, RCA, 8D, TWI, KATA, or SWARMs.
• Experience developing manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids.
• Understanding of production test equipment and calibration requirements.
