Maintenance Technician - Nights (Electro-Mechanical)

Location: Goodyear, Arizona, USA. Onsite manufacturing facility role on the D shift, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, following a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Salary: $32.95 per hour plus a $1.00 night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and improve production equipment and facility systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, rebuilds, calibrations, and equipment adjustments.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, PLC, and control-system issues using schematics and technical documentation.
• Document planned and unplanned maintenance in CMMS and perform root cause, breakdown failure, and reliability analyses.
• Use predictive maintenance methods including vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasound, and oil analysis.
• Support utilities, production lines, warehouses, chillers, CIP systems, safety systems, GMP compliance, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, and relay logic.
• Demonstrated electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, single-line drawings, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, and OEM manuals.
• Experience with electrical testing and diagnostic tools, computers, and maintenance software.
• Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and some holidays; lift up to 50 pounds; and stand, walk, climb, and balance for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain forklift and aerial-lift certifications.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical training in electronics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Allen-Bradley PLC or Wonderware experience.
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Electrical, mechanical, electronics, forklift, or related certifications.
• Experience with predictive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and CMMS planning.
