Maintenance Technician I (Night Shift)

Location: La Vergne, Tennessee, USA; onsite night shift

Salary: $30.25 per hour and up, depending on experience

What you will do

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform complex emergency, unscheduled, and preventive repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production and facility equipment.
• Read equipment manuals, work orders, electrical schematics, and technical prints to complete maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, and other motorized equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment documentation, report faulty operations, and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Support facility leadership, internal customers, and the maintenance team while minimizing equipment downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of technician experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or equivalent directly related education.
• Understanding of facility electrical wiring, power distribution, mechanical systems, AC/DC control wiring, relay logic, and basic PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including servo, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Availability for the D shift: Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., plus every other Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Nice to have

• Experience with INFOR-EAM or a comparable maintenance management system.
