Commercial Project Manager

Location: Hybrid work in Split, Croatia; Bucharest, Romania; or Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina

What you will do

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, actuals analysis, and end-to-end financial controlling for regional digital grid projects.
• Prepare financial reports, KPI dashboards, and project reviews for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable to optimize working capital.
• Analyze commercial contracts and ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and tax requirements.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and financial risks, while supporting claim management and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, finance, tax, treasury, legal, and audit teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial project management or project controlling, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
• Experience with financial forecasting, revenue recognition, cash flow management, cost accounting, and budgeting.
• Experience with contract analysis, claim management, risk mitigation, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, reporting, and business intelligence skills.
• Stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP FI/CO and PS modules.
• Experience in the energy, engineering, or digital grid sectors in Europe.
• IPMA, PMP, or Certified Commercial Project Manager certification.
