Offshore 3D Manager (BIM)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid remote/office work.

What you will do

• Lead the digital engineering and 3D design approach for HVAC offshore substations delivered by the Manchester team.
• Define and implement processes connecting 3D models with 2D drawings, technical specifications, equipment lists, supplier data, and multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Create and maintain model libraries, templates, standards, methods, and information-exchange workflows.
• Manage the workload and priorities of 1–3 dedicated 3D engineers.
• Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, supplier, client, and consortium design models and interfaces.
• Support tenders and projects through design reviews, model governance, interface management, clash detection, and BIM coordination.

Requirements

• Significant experience in 3D engineering, layout design, BIM, or digital engineering for offshore platforms, substations, renewables, oil and gas, or major infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Aveva E3D in multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience developing and implementing 3D design processes, model libraries, standards, and information-exchange workflows.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary and supplier design models and interfaces.
• Knowledge of DNV, IEC, ISO, and CDM Regulations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, leadership, prioritisation, and independent-working skills.
