Offshore Heavy Lift Yoke User (Janett)

Location: United Kingdom; homeworking and teleworking are listed, with regular offshore work on jack-up vessels and offshore wind turbine sites.

What you will do

• Support Janett Yoke operations during offshore heavy lift campaigns, including loadout, mobilisation, component exchange, installation, demobilisation, and close-out.
• Prepare, inspect, maintain, and operate Janett Yoke equipment in line with approved procedures, lift plans, RAMS, and operating limits.
• Coordinate controlled lifting and component handling with crane operators, lifting teams, vessel crews, and offshore technicians.
• Apply hirify.global safety standards, permit-to-work systems, point-of-work risk assessments, and site-specific requirements.
• Identify and escalate equipment defects, unclear instructions, and changing site conditions; support toolbox talks and shift handovers.
• Complete inspection records, defect reports, logbooks, and technical documentation while contributing to lessons learned and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience in offshore wind, marine, lifting, mechanical maintenance, construction, or industrial services, preferably in high-risk operational environments.
• Knowledge of heavy lift operations, crane activities, jack-up vessels, major component exchanges, or controlled lifting systems.
• Ability to interpret and follow lift plans, RAMS, EIPs, work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems, offshore safety procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Strong procedural discipline, attention to detail, communication, documentation, and reporting skills, including use of digital systems and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work offshore rotations, travel internationally, and adapt to weather-dependent mobilisation schedules.
