Working Foreman, Line, Transmission

Location: Hooksett, New Hampshire, United States; required travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. Emergency restoration assignments may require work outside normal hours and locations.

Hourly salary: $66.64, plus incentive; salary is commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Supervise line crews installing, maintaining, and repairing underground and overhead electric transmission systems.
• Coordinate work assignments and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Oversee equipment, materials, timesheets, tailboard documentation, and truck and trailer inspections.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate line-workers while addressing performance and safety requirements.
• Provide first response for emergency trouble calls, coordinate staffing, and work with fire and police services.
• Accept standby duty and provide temporary operational coverage for line supervision roles when required.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a Line-worker I (RG 34.5); supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with education, training, and experience equivalent to Line-worker I (RG 34.5).
• Knowledge of electrical theory and company line work practices and policies.
• Ability to become certified as a rubber glover for 34.5 kV, climb and work on poles and structures, and perform physically demanding work.
• Class A commercial driver’s license with special trailer endorsement and a safe driving record.
• Applicants requiring immigration-related visa sponsorship will not be considered. Availability for standby coverage, emergency restoration assignments, travel, and overtime is required.
