Underground General Foreman Supervisor

Location: On-site in Monrovia, California, with field work throughout the SCE service territory; up to 10% travel required. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $154,000–$231,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise distribution crews installing, removing, maintaining, and repairing underground distribution and communication systems.
• Review daily construction plans and material needs, conduct site inspections, and verify safe work methods.
• Coordinate daily activities and short- and long-term projects with internal and external customers.
• Enforce construction, safety, environmental, material-management, and accounting standards in the field.
• Act as a duty supervisor for after-hours outages and emergency repairs, including commissioning and testing before re-energization.
• Train and develop employees and crew members through instruction and feedback.

Requirements

• At least one year of combined experience performing or supervising underground and overhead electrical distribution construction, maintenance, or operations.
• Experience with outages and switching procedures.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Ability to work safely in an on-site and field-based environment.
• Ability to provide clear written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electricity, electrical circuitry, and electrical equipment operation.
• Experience with State General Orders 95 and 128.
