TL;DR
Senior FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning, AI): Running forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario modelling for a fresh-food business expanding across Europe with an accent on P&L, cash flow, unit economics, and commercial performance. Focus on leading FP&A workstreams, presenting insights to senior leadership and the board, and using AI and automation to improve reporting.

Location: London, UK; 3 days per week in the West London office and 2 days working remotely. Candidates must be within a comfortable commuting distance to London and have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

  • Run rolling forecasts and assess how deviations from plan affect the P&L and cash position.
  • Support budgeting and long-range planning, leading defined workstreams within the FP&A cycle.
  • Perform periodic P&L and cash variance analysis, identify root causes, and work with budget owners on solutions.
  • Host four-weekly business reviews and evaluate business risks, opportunities, and performance.
  • Analyse commercial and operational drivers including CPA, retention, channel effectiveness, unit economics, standard costs, yield, write-offs, and OEE.
  • Model product and market launches, present analysis to senior leadership, prepare quarterly board materials, and improve reporting through AI and automation.

Requirements

  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in FP&A.
  • Advanced financial modelling and strong data manipulation and analysis skills.
  • Ability to create clear graphical representations and present insights to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to commute to the West London office three days per week.

Nice to have

  • Direct-to-consumer experience with cohorts, LTV, and payback analysis.
  • Manufacturing or standard costing experience.
  • Experience reporting across multiple markets or jurisdictions.
