Senior Fleet Planner (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA, United States; occasional travel to other operational sites may be required.

What you will do

• Track vehicles across their full lifecycle, from receiving and build-out through integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Manage day-of fleet execution, including intra-site and inter-site handoffs across vehicles, crews, dispatch, and commercial operations.
• Monitor crew availability and operational capacity, identifying adjustment and backfill needs before they affect execution.
• Maintain resource allocation plans, capacity forecasts, fleet planning syncs, and executive-ready analyses.
• Own and improve fleet management tooling, define business requirements with Engineering and Product, and automate manual workflows.
• Connect fleet data across scheduling, HR systems, and data infrastructure while documenting and improving coordination processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fleet planning, asset management, or logistics coordination supporting Class 8 or autonomous vehicle fleets.
• Experience with fleet management, telematics, ELD platforms, or similar operational systems.
• Understanding of the autonomous vehicle asset lifecycle, including deployment, maintenance, downtime, and operational readiness.
• Experience with resource and capacity planning, allocation plans, forward-looking forecasts, and balancing fleet and crew availability.
• Strong data fluency, organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience coordinating recurring cross-functional meetings.
• Experience partnering with Engineering and Product to define requirements and improve or automate operational workflows.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service, DVIR, pre- and post-trip inspections, and DOT annual inspections.
• Experience using AI tools to plan, analyze, and automate work.
