Supply Chain Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States, with a flexible workplace arrangement potentially available for up to two remote days per week. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage strategic suppliers and coordinate logistics activities within Supplier Account Teams.
• Drive supplier initiatives focused on cycle-time reduction, capacity, buffers, flexibility, and supply-chain performance.
• Optimize multi-tier supply-chain output to meet hirify.global demand and respond to demand changes.
• Monitor supply risks, manage escalations, and implement mitigation plans for structural bottlenecks.
• Execute logistics audits and improve internal logistics processes and supplier planning.
• Analyze complex datasets and use dashboards, automation, scenario modeling, and AI-enabled tools to support fact-based decisions.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to access US-controlled technology is required before starting work.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Typically at least 10 years of direct experience, including at least 3 years with complex supply-chain processes in manufacturing.
• Experience with strategic supplier management, supplier relationships, project management, and New Product Introduction processes.
• Experience in a high-tech, low-volume B2B environment and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, problem-solving, data-visualization, and AI literacy skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with MRP software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience applying business intelligence, data-visualization, and AI-enabled analytical tools in supply chain or manufacturing environments.
