Contracting Manager (Healthcare)

Location: NYC H + H, onsite five days per week. Travel: 1–20% within the United States. Working conditions include a hospital environment.

Salary: $90,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and contract categories for small and mid-tier suppliers.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and competitive sourcing processes covering pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned contracts and resolve questions from field teams and member hospitals.
• Review supplier sales data, forecast administrative fees, and monitor accounts receivable and fee payments.
• Manage amendments, supplier compliance, contract usage, and initiatives to increase contract revenue and value.
• Develop supplier performance metrics, conduct business reviews, and provide operational updates.

Requirements

• At least five years of applicable work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with negotiation, contract operations, and purchased services.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, make independent decisions, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work onsite in a hospital environment and travel 1–20% within the United States.
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and work collaboratively in close quarters.
