Manufacturing Engineering Co-op

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Support the Manufacturing Engineering Department during a six-month co-op assignment.
• Work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, industrial, and quality engineering teams.
• Design parts, assemblies, and fixtures using 3D CAD and SolidWorks.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma techniques to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
• Analyze business and product concerns and determine logical actions.
• Contribute to engineering changes and validation activities.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a degree program at the start of the co-op.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Completed at least the first year of study with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, presentation, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience creating engineering changes and performing validation activities.
