Co-op - Supplier Quality Engineering (MedTech)

Location: Onsite in Acton, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $24.00–$28.50 annual base salary range, with possible incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies for people with diabetes and other conditions.

What you will do

• Support supplier selection, qualification, management, and quality engineering activities.
• Support or lead Engineering Change Orders and supplier communications through External Quality Action Requests.
• Drive continuous improvement projects for supplier quality processes.
• Perform hands-on lab testing, quality inspections, and root-cause analysis using optical gauges, microscopes, battery testers, and related equipment.
• Analyze quality data, improve workflow systems, automate tasks with applicable software, and standardize internal methods.
• Communicate supplier quality metrics through scorecards and management reviews while collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate mechanical, industrial, or bioengineering program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Mechanical aptitude, hands-on mindset, strong attention to detail, and good documentation skills.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or Excel, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform lab testing and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship.
