Human Factors and Usability Engineering Co-op (MedTech): Supporting research, design, and engineering assignments for cardiac medical devices with an accent on usability research, technical reporting, and data interpretation. Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States; onsite

Hourly pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Medical technology organization developing cardiac monitoring, wearable defibrillation, oxygen therapy, software, and related services for patients with serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

What you will do

Perform assigned human factors, usability, research, and design work.
Support the engineering department with technical assignments.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Lead project assignments when needed.
Prepare technical reports and research findings.

Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree required.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Ability to write technical reports and research findings.
Ability to speak and present effectively.
Basic statistics, arithmetic, tabular data, and graph interpretation skills.
Problem-solving skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
