Biomedical Engineering Co-Op (Medtech)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role. The co-op starts in January and runs through June 2027.

Salary: $27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Contribute to technology and algorithm development within the innovation process.
• Support engineers developing mechanical, software/algorithm, and electrical designs.
• Prototype new assemblies and models from concept sketches.
• Use laboratory measurement equipment to support development activities.
• Execute test plans, collect data, and organize results to verify designs.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a college degree program to be considered.
• Pursuing a BS or MS in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar program.
• Currently in the junior or senior year of the degree program.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to support design development and testing.

Nice to have

• Experience prototyping designs, building parts and assemblies, and testing.
• Creativity in developing new assemblies and models.
