Product Owner

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Duration: 12-month contract with potential to convert.

What you will do

• Manage website and mobile application products, product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues with minimal direction.
• Lead field investigations and work with field users, business unit employees, support staff, and management.
• Define business processes, functional requirements, and business cases for associated applications.
• Perform data analysis, application administration, testing, and report development.
• Develop application testing and user training plans, materials, and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience managing web and/or mobile application products.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Eight years of experience are required with a Bachelor’s degree, or nine years with an Associate’s degree.
