Senior Manager, Build Operations (AI)

Location: Remote within NAMER (North America)

Salary: US$191,500–$241,800 or CA$191,500–CA$241,800, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead Build Operations and restore execution capacity on priority workstreams blocking Finance and Build leadership.
• Design and scale the operating model, operating rhythms, and shared frameworks used by engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
• Build a connected visibility layer showing what is shipping, where work overlaps, and where ownership is at risk.
• Own dependency and primitive-ownership routing so cross-team requirements reach accountable owners.
• Drive adoption through enablement, training, feedback loops, and continuous-improvement cycles.
• Manage a team of four, secure resourcing, document operational decisions, and implement AI-powered tools and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience serving as the operational backbone of an engineering or product organization.
• Experience running cross-functional programs across multiple teams or organizations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into language and frameworks that non-technical audiences can use.
• Strong project and program management skills, including planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, and change documentation.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, secure buy-in and resources, and operate effectively in ambiguity.
• Experience embedding AI into team workflows and processes; deep technical expertise is not required.
