Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing - MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations)

Location: Fremont, California, with a secondary work location in San Jose, California

Salary: $151,700–$202,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of MRO sourcing professionals.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management plans for maintenance, repair, and operations services.
• Run RFPs, evaluate supplier proposals, and lead cross-functional supplier selection processes.
• Negotiate master agreements, statements of work, change orders, pricing, and other commercial procurement terms.
• Analyze spend, contracts, proposals, total costs, ROI, rates, market intelligence, and cost drivers.
• Manage supplier performance, resolve contract disputes, and improve sourcing and contract lifecycle processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing within a multinational organization, with an emphasis on MRO.
• Extensive experience with sourcing initiatives, complex category strategies, supplier relationship management, outsourcing, and targeted negotiations.
• Strong contract negotiation, vendor management, influencing, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with sourcing and contracting ERP tools such as SAP and/or Oracle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Work from the Fremont office, with a secondary work location in San Jose, California.
