Senior Commercial Lawyer

Location: Hybrid working with flexibility to travel to offices in Winchester and London, United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £85,000 per year, plus a 10% bonus

What you will do

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Lead negotiations and review complex commercial agreements.
• Advise senior stakeholders on legal risk, compliance and commercial decisions.
• Develop legal policies, governance frameworks and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor legislation, liaise with regulators and support compliance activities.
• Manage external counsel, disputes, litigation, legal audits and internal legal training.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with at least four years of post-qualification experience gained in private practice, in-house, or both.
• Expertise in complex contractual matters and commercial legal advice.
• Experience across corporate, governance and regulatory matters.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver pragmatic, risk-based solutions.
• Degree in Law or equivalent experience, plus LPC, SQE or equivalent legal practice qualification.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior legal team members and influencing senior stakeholders.
