Material Handler (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Move, load, and transport materials, freight, and products between storage areas, production floors, and loading docks.
• Read work orders to determine material requirements, assignments, and priorities.
• Monitor ihirify.globalory, maintain storage areas, and keep materials protected and properly staged.
• Maintain ihirify.globalory records and databases using manual and computer-based systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Coordinate material flow with production schedules and support training for junior material handlers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of experience handling materials in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• Forklift and material-handling equipment experience; forklift certification is required before operation.
• Strong understanding of ihirify.globalory control, material flow, safety, organization, and productivity.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read work orders and follow established procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform bending, kneeling, climbing, and gripping tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds consistently.

• Full-time schedules include a day shift from Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or a weekend schedule from Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
