Supervisor, Electric Field Operations (Eastern Capital Projects)

Location: East Hampton, Connecticut; field work throughout eastern Connecticut, with travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary

Salary: $126,770–$140,850 annually, plus potential incentive

What you will do

• Lead the safe execution of electric field construction, operations, maintenance, and emergency restoration activities.
• Coordinate capital projects with internal departments, utilities, municipalities, contractors, and external agencies.
• Monitor work planning from initiation through closeout and ensure job packages, materials, schedules, and budgets support construction execution.
• Set expectations, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address employee performance and labor-relations issues.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain a customer-first approach during planned and emergency work.
• Participate in storm duty assignments, shift coverage, and a rotational on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Five to ten years of related experience; electric distribution and supervisory experience are preferred.
• Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution facilities at secondary and primary operating voltages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to maintain switching and tagging qualifications and use desktop applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid motor vehicle license required; D.O.T. driver’s license preferred.
