Financial Systems Analyst (SAP/GFEBS): Supporting and enhancing Department of Defense financial systems while maintaining accurate financial data and training users with an accent on SAP-based systems, reporting, and data validation. Focus on resolving recurring system and data issues, managing access permissions, supporting fiscal year close-out, and improving financial reporting with Excel, Power BI, and Power Query.

What you will do
- Support and enhance enterprise financial systems, including GFEBS and SAP-ERP.
- Review, correct, and validate financial data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Develop training materials and user guides, and deliver individual and group training.
- Track system issues, updates, and resolutions for leadership and project stakeholders.
- Monitor financial reports and performance indicators to identify and resolve recurring problems.
- Support fiscal year close-out, new-year reporting, system maintenance, and user access management.
Requirements
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 8+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting financial systems or accounting processes within the Department of Defense or another government organization.
- Experience with SAP-based systems; GFEBS/SAP-ERP experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel formulas, pivot tables, data lookups, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Clear communication, organization, time management, teamwork, and independent working ability.
Nice to have
- Experience with Special Operations Forces or SOCOM organizations.
- Experience in financial data analysis, training, or customer support.
- Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel skills for data modeling, visualization, and automation.
- Familiarity with government financial systems and documentation.
- Department of Defense experience and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
