Tax Operations Analyst

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated tax operations workflows in Alteryx.
• Review end-to-end processes, identify inefficiencies and control gaps, and implement improvements.
• Build Power BI dashboards and reports for real-time visibility into tax data.
• Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from accounting and operational systems.
• Automate recurring tax reconciliations, investigate exceptions, and resolve data issues.
• Partner with Technology, Accounting, and Operations teams to integrate systems, document controls, and support adoption of new tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, financial operations, or data analytics; relevant internships count.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, and work with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx and a visualization tool such as Power BI.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and accounting systems or general ledgers.
• Strong process-improvement, analytical, organizational, communication, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or other scripting and data tools.
• Experience automating manual processes or delivering process-improvement projects.
• Prior tax experience or exposure to financial services or trading environments.
