Sales Development Representative (Scientific Research)

Location: Home-based in Ohio; open to applicants in any US state

Salary: Base pay range of $46,700–$78,000 annually in Ohio. Total target cash range: $71,900–$120,000.

What you will do

• Prospect for new business through phone, email, LinkedIn, and follow-up outreach.
• Research assigned target accounts and qualify prospective customers using tested value propositions.
• Own lead-generation activities and coordinate with Marketing to assess omnichannel leads.
• Work with Solutions Account Executives to document pre-sales information accurately.
• Schedule qualified demonstrations and meetings while building the sales pipeline.
• Identify decision-makers and influencers within prospective customer organizations.

Requirements

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex content to different audiences.
• Self-starter attitude, strong efficiency, and effective self-management.
• Proven work ethic and a track record of exceeding goals.
• Problem-solving skills for complex sales, marketing, and business-development issues.
• Interest in developing a career in sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and LinkedIn.
