IT Recruiter (Technical Recruiting)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Fairfax, Virginia and local hiring events throughout the Washington, DC metro area.

Salary: $40.00–$45.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition creation through offer acceptance.
• Recruit for cleared and uncleared technical, IT, cybersecurity, and business operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define recruiting priorities and hiring needs.
• Create and manage requisitions in iCIMS and maintain candidate pipelines.
• Source, screen, engage, and coordinate interviews with candidates.
• Track recruiting activity and metrics, support transition recruiting, and attend virtual and in-person hiring events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Hands-on iCIMS experience.
• Experience recruiting for technical, IT, or government contracting positions.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, ClearanceJobs, or similar sourcing platforms.
• Strong candidate engagement, phone screening, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel; ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal civilian or government contractor hiring programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-driven recruiting tools.
• Knowledge of EEOC guidelines and recruiting best practices.
