Senior Technical Recruiter (Defense)

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate qualification, and submission to hiring managers.
• Develop targeted recruitment strategies and build candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, databases, networking, and job fairs.
• Collaborate with the hiring team to identify current and future staffing needs, role requirements, and job duties.
• Recruit technical talent across AI/ML, data science, DevSecOps, ServiceNow, Java, cloud networking, software engineering, data architecture, and cybersecurity.
• Support business development and capture efforts by identifying candidates and companies aligned with specific programs and customers.
• Support proposal activities by assessing candidate qualifications, collecting documentation, and providing pricing realism for post-award delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience recruiting for IT-focused positions.
• Experience recruiting for security-clearance positions in DoD, intelligence, and civilian federal contracting environments.
• Knowledge of DoD security-clearance requirements, employment laws, and recruiting best practices.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong candidate sourcing, relationship-building, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Dayton, Ohio and willingness to travel as needed.
