Application Packaging & Deployment Engineer (SCCM/Intune)

Location: UK-based, remote with occasional travel to the office; travel expenses paid

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, pro rata

hirify.global is recruiting for an end-user computing engineering role supporting enterprise application packaging and deployment.

What you will do

• Create and maintain application packages using AdminStudio, InstallShield, and PowerShell.
• Repackage legacy applications for Intune and MSIX deployment.
• Deploy applications through SCCM and Intune with appropriate user or device targeting and licensing compliance.
• Maintain deployment collections, boundary groups, and distribution points.
• Troubleshoot and remediate deployment failures across pre-production and production environments.
• Raise Change Requests, attend CAB meetings, and maintain accurate deployment documentation while collaborating with application owners, service desk, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Active UK SC security clearance
• L3-level SCCM Current Branch expertise, including application deployment, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• L3-level PowerShell scripting skills, plus proficiency in VBScript and Batch.
• Experience packaging MSI, MSIX, and App-V applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 10/11 environments.
• Experience with formal change management frameworks, including Change Requests and CAB.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Conditional Access.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
