Field Service Engineer - North - Manchester/Liverpool

What you will do

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain supported IT and communications products.
• Respond to incidents within service-level agreements and restore customer equipment to working condition.
• Perform system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and repair products and associated equipment across the assigned territory.
• Maintain system configurations, customer contacts, spare-parts inventory, service reports, and related administration.
• Work with regional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• IT background and experience with Windows desktop and server environments, including Windows 10/7 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Experience with WSUS, Active Directory, and Symantec antivirus.
• Willingness and ability to drive, as travel forms a significant part of the role.
• Logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting, with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is required.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK is required; documentary evidence will be requested.

Nice to have

• SQL experience.
• Cisco networking knowledge or qualifications.
• Previous field service experience.
