Insurance Specialist (Sales)

Location: Galway, Ireland; office-based work with occasional face-to-face client meetings required.

Salary: €33,000–€35,000 per year, plus a bonus of at least 21% of salary.

What you will do

• Advise commercial clients on suitable motor insurance products and coverage.
• Convert provided inbound and outbound leads into active commercial insurance clients.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs covering conversion, retention, and premium income.
• Build long-term client relationships and provide responsive support by phone and email.
• Handle queries and complaints, provide timely resolutions, and maintain a customer-first service.
• Work with insurers and internal stakeholders to improve client solutions and workflows.

Requirements

• Previous motor insurance experience is essential.
• APA or CIP qualification required.
• Ability to maintain accurate client and transaction records in line with compliance standards.
• Ability to keep up to date with insurance industry developments, regulatory changes, and internal training.
• Availability to work in the Galway office when required.
