Finance Business Partner (Employee Benefits & Central Functions)

What you will do

• Partner with the Employee Benefits leadership team to manage performance, budgets, forecasts, profitability, pricing, pipeline conversion, and KPI reporting.
• Lead monthly business reviews, explain performance drivers, and follow through on agreed actions.
• Partner with central department heads on cost bases, headcount, budgets, forecasts, cost allocation, and cost-to-serve.
• Lead the financial management of IT and change investment, including capital and non-recurring spend for platform programmes.
• Build and challenge investment business cases and track realised benefits against approved plans.
• Deliver accurate reporting for Board and Executive packs and develop Power BI reporting, automation, and data quality.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Meaningful post-qualified experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or finance business partnering.
• Experience owning budget and forecast cycles for both revenue-generating and overhead areas.
• Experience partnering directly with senior non-financial stakeholders and challenging cost performance.
• Advanced Excel and working knowledge of Power BI.
• Ability to work at pace with imperfect data while improving processes and automating reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience appraising technology or change investments, including capital and non-recurring spend and benefit tracking.
• Professional services or consulting economics experience, including utilisation, rate realisation, recovery, WIP, and lock-up.
• Experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growing business.
