What you will do

• Partner with commercial, finance, operational, and external stakeholders, providing evidence-based recommendations and constructive challenge.
• Produce concise commercial analysis, regular reporting, financial models, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Evaluate loyalty, sports, promotional, and investment activity against budgets, expectations, KPIs, and value-for-money targets.
• Analyse customer behaviour, visit frequency, sales, app activity, loyalty performance, and digital engagement metrics with the Customer Data & Analytics and BI teams.
• Set targets and prepare monthly reporting packs for the Digital Engagement Dartboard metric, recommending actions to improve performance.
• Own or support governance processes including menu and business case sign-off and post-investment reviews.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience of 3 or more years, or significant experience in a business-facing business partnering role.
• Commercial finance or business partnering experience, including financial modelling, investment appraisal, or analysis.
• Ability to analyse complex financial and non-financial scenarios, reach logical conclusions, and recommend clear actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics simply.
• Ability to build relationships across the business and with external advisers.
• Ability to balance short-term deliverables with long-term commercial objectives and changing priorities.
