Product AI Application Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop AI backend services, including model gateways, agent scheduling layers, and streaming inference services.
• Build high-concurrency, low-latency, horizontally scalable microservice architectures that meet production SLA requirements.
• Develop agent workflows and tool-calling systems on the Openclaw platform, integrating trading, risk, and data systems with secure calls and reliable results.
• Deliver AI services for intelligent customer support, risk signal detection, compliance analysis, and personalized user services.
• Design session memory, long-term memory, knowledge base, and incremental update infrastructure for AI applications.
• Establish LLM tracing, prompt version management, evaluation frameworks, and automated LLM-as-Judge pipelines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang or Java, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and gRPC interfaces.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with microservices, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• 1+ year of production experience building LLM applications or AI agents and independently delivering AI features end to end.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering, few-shot and chain-of-thought design, and understanding of LLM limitations such as hallucinations and context length.
