Lead, Integration and Test Engineering - System and Network Administration

Location: Rochester, New York, onsite. The role requires the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Salary: $106,000–$197,000 annually in applicable locations, including New York.

What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot development, integration, and production test environments and equipment for military avionics production.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, clients, user accounts, and groups.
• Create, maintain, and deploy Linux and Windows 10/11 client images.
• Administer VLAN network equipment and maintain connectivity for lab devices.
• Maintain, test, back up, and restore data across laboratory environments.
• Resolve hardware, operating system, test equipment, parts, and obsolescence compatibility issues while maintaining system setup procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field with at least 9 years of system administration experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with 7 years of experience or 13 years of experience without a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience with the test development process from requirements definition through qualification and production support.
• At least 5 years of hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience.
• At least 5 years of networking experience, including subnets and VLANs.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance; eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and use a stepladder.
