What you will do

• Lead sustainment engineering, system configuration, and lifecycle support for Navy tactical networks including CANES, ADNS, and ISNS/COMPOSE.
• Partner with Government SMEs to analyze system performance and develop fielded systems engineering practices for Navy modernization and sustainment initiatives.
• Direct daily priorities, coordinate technical tasks, and mentor sustainment engineers and analysts.
• Manage contract deliverables, technical data calls, status reports, and executive-level briefings for Navy program stakeholders.
• Provide remote and onsite technical assistance, global diagnostics, and resolution of complex network anomalies during fleet readiness and test events.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and develop engineering workarounds, SOPs, and technical sustainment documentation.

Requirements

• At least five years of technical experience supporting CANES, ADNS, ISNS/COMPOSE, or comparable Navy C4I systems.
• Master’s degree with 6–8 years of experience, bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, or 14 relevant years of experience with an approved education waiver.
• Vendor or platform certification such as Cisco CCNP/CCDP, Red Hat RHCP, VMware VCP, Microsoft role-based, or cloud certification.
• DoD 8570/8140 Cybersecurity Workforce qualification within nine months of hire.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with Navy sustainment or fielded systems engineering, technical leadership, mentoring, technical reporting, or enterprise technologies is preferred.
